Dua Lipa Concert In Jakarta Canceled Due To Stage Security And Logistics Issues

JAKARTA - The concert titled Two Lipa Radical Optimism Tour in Jakarta is confirmed to be canceled. This notification was confirmed by TEM Presents and PK Entertainment through uploads on the official Instagram account.

Meanwhile, the Dua Lipa concert in Jakarta is scheduled to be held at the Indonesia Arena, Central Jakarta on Saturday, November 9 at 20.00 WIB.

The promoter said that the cancellation of Dua Lipa's concert was caused by security and logistics problems related to the stage structure.

"Due to unexpected security and logistics issues, TEM Presents & PK Entertainment has a heavy heart to announce the cancellation of Dua Lipa Radical Optimism Tour in Jakarta which is highly anticipated which is scheduled for November 9, 2024 at the Indonesia Arena," reads the promoter statement via Instagram.

Even though Dua Lipa is ready to appear and the entire team is working hard to solve important production problems related to the stage structure provided by the Eyes of the Eagle Productions, the show is not safe to continue. A very difficult decision to cancel this was made very carefully and took into account the safety of the audience and artists.

Dua Lipa also responded to the cancellation of this concert which immediately made a statement via Instagram Story. In fact, the 'Levitating' singer is already in Jakarta and is ready to greet his fans.

"I am very sad to say that I cannot perform in Jakarta this Saturday, November 9. I am in your amazing and ready to perform, but I am very sad to say that it has been determined that performances are not safe to continue because of safety issues with performances," Dua Lipa wrote.

"I'm really looking forward to tonight, and it hurts me that we can't perform for all of you, especially after a long time since my last appearance in Jakarta."

The 29-year-old singer hopes to return to Jakarta for a future performance.

"I love you all and can't really wait to get back together in the same room with you singing and dancing with all your heart as soon as possible," Dua Lipa said.

Furthermore, the promoter apologized for the sudden information that must be received by everyone who already has a ticket and is preparing to see Dua Lipa live on stage.
