JAKARTA - The band alternative rock Close to Breathe ran fast by launching a full album titled 'Samasta'. Guntur (guitar, vocals), Doyen (bas gitar), and Rangga (drums) presented nine new songs for this album.
Samasta became the second full album that Close to Breathe was introduced. Previously, this trio released its first full album with the title Tembusan Harapan in March 2023.
Guntur cs comes more complete for the second album. The material in it has various themes and nuances, not only about romance.
"In this album everything is mixed up, such as love, anger, sadness, happiness, friendship and there is also a song full of adrenaline and criticism entitled 'There is resistance'," Guntur said in his statement, Tuesday, November 5.
The material on the album has been worked on for a long time. Close to Breathe has been working on several songs since 2020. This makes Samasta have various arrangements, not just rock.
"Why is there so many slow songs on this album? So that it is better to enjoy and be able to accompany listeners on the road while driving, accompanying silence in the room and deep longing for someone," said Guntur.
