Invite Great Women, Mxmtoon Presents The Liminal Space Album

JAKARTA - United States soloist, mxmtoon 1 November yesterday released his third album 'liminal space' under the auspices of EARLY.

Along with the release of his album, mxmtoon is also proud to announce his first appearance on late night TV show Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he will perform one of the songs on his latest album, rain for the first time on national television. "How do you deal with big changes in life? Maybe you let yourself get dissolved in emotions that come in the midst of a chaotic situation? Or maybe you pray to God for the first time? Or can you also make an album about it all and then call it limit space," said mxmtoon about his album in a written statement, 1 November.

"During the two years full of turmoil since my second album, I feel like I'm stuck in a transition period that feels endless," he continued.

"It's easy to feel trapped in something I can barely fully understand, and life has described many questions that I can only talk about with, 'I don't know.' So, in the midst of that uncertainty, I wrote these songs. I try to unravel how I've chosen to play a role in my own life, and sometimes how I fail to do so. I'm very lucky to be able to create this album with a team of great women, from producers, songwriters, to recording technicians, who make the process of creating this album even more meaningful. liminal space is an album for those who have difficulty understanding self-will, who find a sweet taste in bitterness, and who get lost in the endless alley within themselves.

On this album, mxmtoon collaborates with the production team, all of which are women. From songwriters, recording technicians, music producers, photographers to clothing designers Kang Hee Kim, he invites great women.

The 'liminal space' also shows the ability to write mxmtoon lyrics that are growing mature, where previously its personal writing style has succeeded in bringing in millions of listeners and also loyal fans who have now spread throughout the world. With the theme of living in an uncertainty in entering adulthood which is then packed with indie-pop genre music, the 'liminal space' is ready to be the most introspective mxmtoon music project to date.

Before releasing this album in full, mxmtoon had given listeners an early description of this album through a single titled i hate texas - a song colored by a violin accompaniment and written with fellow musicians, underscorres. which he released in August. Then in September, he released his second single, "the situation (feat. Kero Kero Bonito)" - a song that provides clever comments about our feelings if we feel we have passed our heyday in life.

Finally, he also released a single titled "rain" which became a song that showed the personal side of mxmtoon who was struggling to accept a life change. These songs, along with other works in the culinary space, feature mxmtoon at the peak of its ability, both in terms of lyric writing and musicality as a musician.
