Rimar tried to get out of his comfort zone after several years of his career. Through his latest single titled "Idea of You", he explored many things.

This song is Rimar's first English single. He also presents cheerful pop mid-tempo music. When compared to previous habits that were thicker with pop ballad, it would feel very different.

In this single, Rimar collaborated with one of the creators and producers of well-known songs from Sweden, Johan Gustafsson, who had collaborated with world singers such as NCT 127, chancecat Doll, Red Velvet, Armin Van Buuren, and various other world artists.

"It's an honor to be working with Johan Gustafsson. Because his track record in the music industry is really good, and when he was given a demo, I immediately fell in love," said Rimar in a written statement, November 1.

"Honestly, I feel challenged to this song, because this is my first single to speak English. Luckily many people behind me supported until finally this song was released," said Rimar.

Rimar explained that the song Idea of You tells the story of someone who realizes that he only falls in love with his expectations about the person he loves, when originally the person was not as good and as perfect as his expectations.

The music video Idea of You is made simple but feels colorful by presenting colorful visual tones but remains comfortable in the eyes. He collaborated with A VSLZM production directed by Dorothy Kezia to handle his MV.

Through this single, Rimar hopes to provide a new color not only for himself as a singer, but also for his fans and music fans, so that he can be known as a musician who is able to translate various music genres.
