JAKARTA - Afgan, who debuted in 2008, became very famous through the song "Thank You Love" on the album 'Confession No.1".

However, the 35-year-old singer admitted that her career was not as smooth as imagined. There are many things to go through before becoming a professional in the music industry.

Afgan said his first appearance in public made a very impression. At that time, he appeared to sing at a shopping center in Tangerang.

"The first time I sang at the food court. Really remember at Karawaci Mall, the one with the taxi jet," Afgan told the media crew in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, recently.

"Then, there are also only two who watch," said Afgan again.

Not only that, Afgan also revealed the wages he received after appearing. He admitted to receiving payments in the form of vouchers.

"He then paid with vouchers, I think IDR 500 thousand, vouchers eat IDR 500 thousand at the food court," he said.

From this experience, Afgan actually felt something funny. He admitted that his appearance at that time was not intended as a professional.

"At that time, it seemed like it was fun, because I didn't imagine I would become a famous singer. So at that time it was fun to sing and now there is this point," said Afgan.

"It's fun to remember the past like having experienced things like that," he said.
