Difficulty After Being Left By Manager, Liam Payne Delays Release Of Second Album

JAKARTA - Liam Payne ex One Direction reportedly postponed the release of his second album, although Teardrops as the opening single of the new album has been released since last March.

With this news, fans' wait for Liam's second album will be even longer, where his last album titled LP1 was released in 2019.

Meanwhile, the second album was postponed indefinitely. A source named Liam's close friend said that the reason was the failure of Teardrops to enter the top 30 of the UK charts and his farewell to the manager earlier this year.

"Right now, things are difficult for Liam. His former manager Roger resigned earlier this year," the source said, citing The Sun, Friday, October 11.

"Liam has done very well on his second album but now it's completely stopped. Liam told people now that he didn't know if the album was going to be released," he continued.

It did not stop there, it was also mentioned that the documentary film containing the career journey of the 31-year-old singer had also been canceled.

The film is known to tell the well-documented Liam's struggle.

Previously, in June 2021, Liam had spoken about his struggle against alcohol and drugs. He admitted he was surprised after seeing his own photos.

He has also checked himself into rehabilitation facilities the following year, and proudly said he is conscious and is working on new projects.

"And I haven't had a drink since, it's been almost six months," Liam said.

"I feel more able to control life now, and everything that stays away from me. I feel more controllable. I just need a little time for myself," he continued.

"I'm being someone I don't know anymore. Glad to be in this position. I obviously don't need those things anymore. The party is over."
