Joe Jonas Removes P Diddy's Name When He Sings Cake By The Ocean

JAKARTA - Joe Jonas is the latest name to choose to stay away from Sean Combs alias P Diddy who was arrested and charged with sex trafficking, extortion and prostitution.

As is known, DNCE's song 'Cake By The Ocean', Joe Jonas' band, contains the names P Diddy and Naomi Campbell in the lyrics.

At the Jonas Brothers concert at the LDLC Arena, Paris at the end of last September, Joe had the opportunity to present a 'cake By The Ocean', and he chose not to include Diddy's name while singing the chorus of the song.

The original lyrics read, "Walk for me, baby / I'll be Diddy, you'll be Naomi"

When sung by Joe Jonas, the lyrics are, Walk for me, baby / I'll be watching you be Naomi

The video when Joe sang the section went viral and became a hot topic of conversation among netizens.

"They have to change that sentence, Diddy and Naomi," commented one netizen.

"Well, in the end he didn't mention the person's name, it made me feel relieved," wrote another netizen.

Joe is not the first person to change the lyrics of his song after the P Diddy case emerged to the public.

Previously, Kesha revealed that she plans to re-record her debut single entitled 'TiK ToK', which also contains the name P Diddy in the lyrics of the song.

For information, the lyrics of the song 'Cake By The Ocean' which mentions the names P Diddy and Naomi Campbell refer to rumors that Diddy reportedly dated supermodel Naomi Campbell in the 2000s.
