Tilly Birds Launches Single In English Retro-39 For Foreign Music Connoisseurs

JAKARTA - The alternative music group from Thailand, Tilly Birds, again greeted the listeners by introducing the latest English single entitled 'Retro-39'.

This song presents nostalgia late 1990s to early 2000s to show the growth of Third (main vocals), Billy (guitar, keyboards), and Milo (drums, vocals) as artists. They want to captivate the hearts of many generations with the soundtrack of love and a cheerful and relaxed life.

The 'Retro-39' also marks Tilly Birds' efforts to bring more international listeners to their music, including music lovers in Indonesia.

Over the years, the trio has performed at various festivals and music concerts throughout Asia. Tilly Birds has always been excited to be present in places that many people have been waiting for.

'Retro-39' is Tilly Birds' second song fully English. Previously, there was 'White Pills', which had become a mandatory setlist song and became a playlist for many people.

According to Third, the presence of 'Retro-39' is the answer to the need for something lighter after the 'White Pills'.

Milo juva explained that the group had been playing the song for two years and was getting ready for the next album. Therefore, it makes sense to produce something completely new.

"We just landed back from Japan, and when we were waiting for our luggage, he (Third) said, 'I understand!' Then he sent us his notes," Billy said.

With the help of Cehadoo as one of the directors, which is presented in the music video is a visual love letter for romantic comedy that is currently considered a modern classic. They combine elements in several films, such as (500) Days of Summer, About Time, dab There's Something About Mary.
