Ari Lasso And Once Mekel Side By Side With Familiar, Baladewa Hope Both Are On Stage Again

JAKARTA - Ari Lasso and Once Mekel are two vocalists who led Dewa 19 to the steps of the legendary band. The two of them finally side by side again, even though they were not on the magnificent stage of the Dewa concert.

The second meeting took place at the DPR-MPR RI building a few days ago. The two of them also immortalized the moment through their respective Instagram uploads.

Ari Lasso, Dewa 19's first vocalist, uploaded the moment of'sungkem' to Once who had been inaugurated as a member of the council. With his humorous style, Ari congratulated his friend.

"Meet the member of the Honorary Council @oncemekelofficial, after finishing performing at the MPR Building!! You know I invited you to the stage, ah dear," wrote Ari Lasso in the caption column.

Once replying with comments that feel like a 'code'. "Fuuhh.. there's no need to be "respectful"..dewan is our beloved 19, it just fits... hehe has been around for a long time," replied Once.

While on his own Instagram, the owner of the name Elfonda Mekel referred to Ari as the singer he idolized.

"Meet idol vocalist @ari_laso on the back stage of the MPR/DPR building... Stay impressive..late!" said Once.

Seeing the two former Dewa 19 players side by side, Baladewa immediately hoped that the two would return to stage as two legendary vocalists. Without command, uniform comments are written by fans in their respective styles.

"2 DEWA legend vocalists 19, hopefully once Mekel can perform with DEWA 19 again, that's really waiting for fans," wrote one netter. "Just look at this and I'm really happy about it", said another.

Ahmad Dhani and Once's relationship was strained because of the complicated problems of music royalties. But lately Dhani also had time to throw a code inviting Once to a gig again. Will it happen?
