Meanwhile, the news of Doug suffering from throat cancer was first revealed by The Dead Daises. They said the guitarist would not be involved in band activities for a while due to his health condition.
"In the future, Doug will not be available for the next performance," wrote The Dead Daisies.
Doug's position, temporarily, will be replaced by Reb Beach, the current Whitesnake guitarist.
