JAKARTA - Tom Hamilton (bass) has dismissed the possibility that Aerosmith will replace Steven Tyler (vocals) with other vocalists.
As is known, Aerosmith decided to retire from the tour concert in early August, after Steven Tyler's voiceband problems did not improve.
Firmly, Hamilton stated there was no internal Aerosmith talk to find another vocalist to replace Tyler.
"There was absolutely no talk of a tour with other singers," said Tom Hamilton during a recent interview with AARP.
The 72-year-old bassist felt it would be very strange for the band and fans to watch the Aerosmith show without Steven Tyler.
"I can't imagine it," he said.

When asked what to do after Aerosmith no longer toured, Hamilton said, "I believe we all have music in the future and it will come about in a way we haven't planned yet."
"I've played in a band with some good friends. We have a lot of really good songs and we hope to be able to release them soon and hopefully we can perform at some concerts."
Meanwhile, Aerosmith's decision to retire from the tour, Hamilton said, had gone through discussions that were followed by management and personnel.
"The decision was made by a team that includes our dedicated band and management," Hamilton said.
"The extraordinary Aerosmith crew and everyone who worked for the band were notified within a day or two," he concluded.
