The Delayed Third Album Of Imanez Will Be Released Next Year

JAKARTA - It has been 20 years since Abdul Firman Jusuf Saad alias Imanez's return to the Creator, but his memories are still attached to his close friends.

Bassist Slank Ivanka who is close to Imanez in Potlot (Slank headquarters) said that the third album of the deceased will be released next year.

Meanwhile, the release of the extended play (EP) or Ottojam's mini album (band of the late Imanez) recently became a "bridge" towards the release of next year's album.

"We are actually bridging, in order that we want to release the album Imanez which has not yet been released. That's next year," Ivanka said when met in Cilandak, South Jakarta recently.

The EP Ottojam contains five songs written by the late Imanez, namely "Tequila Sunrise," "Child of the beach", "Samalona", "You Must Want", "Monkey Tope".

Bridgingnya dengan Ottojam yang membuat mini album, dimana lagu-lagunya Imanez kita rilis kembali. Itu harapnya jadi bridging buat album ketiganya Imanez untuk dirilis tahun depan, ujar Ivanka.

The 52-year-old bassist also gave a leak about the album that will be released, where the voice of Imanez, who was previously recorded, will be presented.

So, the deceased Imanez in 2004, she died in June. So, throughout early 2004 she was working on an album. So when the album was almost finished, she was sick and then died," said Ivanka.

"The song has been finished but we haven't had time to release it yet. God willing, 21 years later (after Imanez dies), we will release it," he said.
