Comfortable With Existing Songs, The Adams Don't Want To Rush To Work On New Albums

JAKARTA - The Adams, who has been on music for more than 20 years, is again loved by young music lovers today. They are also included in the outline of major music festivals in Jakarta.

Saleh Husein alias Ale (guitar, vocals) enjoys and is grateful for The Adams' busy life today. They try to maintain what has been achieved during music.

"It must be enjoyed. With that time out, we just have to enjoy it. The Adams is not only a member, but his family, many crew and management are also others. So I think we are thinking about going there," said Saleh Husein to the media crew in Cilandak, South Jakarta on Tuesday, August 27.

When asked if there was a fan demand for The Adams to release a new song, Ale felt that even though the demands were there, everything depended on the personnel.

"There is no (demand), we are the most difficult to prosecute. If you talk about The Adams, let's see, from album two to three, 13 years old. So what do you want to do with the next album?" said Ale.

"We have 13 years left, we have no problem. Want to be faster? It's okay too, but it depends on us too," he continued.

According to Ale, working on an album is not as easy as imagined. For him, returning to the recording studio to work on an album is a "spiritual" moment.

"The recording is something that makes me spiritual moment. The atmosphere, mood, time, meeting, ideas, all kinds of things make me important. So the moment to make an album is a crucial moment," he said.

"But the demand to make a new album again, we are not an industrial band that seems to have to rush to make an album, so that's it, the name The Adams is always like that," said Ale.

For information, The Adams, which was formed in the early 2000s, has so far released three studio albums, namely The Adams (2005), v2,05 (2006), and Agterplas (2019).
