38 Years Of Career, Kahitna Reveals The Biggest Existing Strength On The Music Stage

JAKARTA - Not many bands, such as Kahitna, have lasted nearly four decades in the music scene with a stage that is always crowded with spectators. The age of the connoisseur is even more than half of his personnel.

This year, they celebrate the 38th anniversary on the music line. Yovie Widianto also collaborated with his old friend, Dino Hamid to initiate a special concert titled the Kahitna Concert 2 Years Towards 40 which will be held on September 17 at the JCC.

In a press conference on Thursday, August 15 yesterday, Yovie Widianto expressed his desire to always entertain Soulmate, as Kahitna fans. The concept presented was fairly special, with a 360-degree stage and introduced their hit song when it was first released.

At that moment the composer also revealed how Kahitna was able to maintain its existence and relevance in the industry. One of the greatest powers is the song that is unbound by the times.

"We are lucky to have songs that are not far from the times or an era. So the song we created earlier when Raisa, RAN or HiVi performed is still the same, like the song that was just created yesterday," explained Yovie.

Still according to Yovie, Kahitna has her own charm, especially on the music stage. They are grateful to always be able to get appreciation at a mature age.

"In social media, it's normal for us, but if we perform, we'll always be proud. Thank you to the Soulmate who have always supported us so far," concluded the conceptator Kahitna.
