Dere Remembers The Moment Of Appearing At The State Palace Bringing The Seduction Of Kelapa Island

JAKARTA - A talented young singer, Dere recalled the moment when she sang the song "Rayuan Pulau Kelapa" at the State Palace in 2022. At that time she appeared at the 77th anniversary of Indonesian Independence.

"To this day, what is still very grateful for is that in 2022, I had the opportunity to sing the song 'Rayuan Pulau Kelapa' at the State Palace," said Dere at Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA on Wednesday, August 14.

"Rayuan Pulau Kelapa" is a song created by Ismail Marzuki which is often sung during state moments, one of which is the Celebration of the Birthday of the Republic of Indonesia every year. In 2022, Dere performed nicely with the accompaniment of the Gita Bahana Nusantara orchestra to present the song.

In front of President Joko Widodo and all the guests and state officials who were present at that time, the owner of the name Theresia Margaretha Gultom successfully performed the song solemnly. He was also grateful to be able to take part in this important moment.

"It feels full of emotion, pride, and gratitude, one of the experiences I will remember my whole life," said the 22-year-old girl.

Previously, Dere admitted that he had received an invitation to be one of the performers at the 2022 Indonesian Independence Day Celebration. Without thinking, Dere immediately accepted the invitation and was happy to be part of it.

"You can get an invitation to sing at the State Palace," said Dere.

"At that time, out of town, suddenly we received news that we received an invitation to sing the song 'Rayuan Pulau Kelapa' at the State Palace," he continued.

Furthermore, Dere hopes that the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence on August 17, 2024 can be a good momentum for the community. Moreover, music in Indonesia which hopefully can develop better and benefit everyone.

"Happy Independence Day to Indonesia, hopefully it can continue to be prosperous, hopefully music in Indonesia can continue to advance and continue to sail anywhere," concluded Dere.
