Jack White's Other Kind Of Strategy To Promote His Tour

JAKARTA - The music industry creates routines and patterns that sometimes make everything uniform. And Jack White doesn't seem to want to be a part of it.

The former White Stripes personnel implemented a rather different way to prepare for their upcoming tour. He did not divulge his tour schedule to the public.

"Many are asking when we will announce the tour date. Well, we don't know what to say, but this tour has already started," wrote Jack White on Instagram.

Because it seemed made impromptu, some people called this tour like a pop up show. Jack doesn't blame it, but he revealed that the roadshow he made was a decent show.

"You can call it what you want, but we are on tour now. This is a show," he said.

"We will not announce the schedule at the start, we will play in several small clubs, small parties in the backyard and some shows at the festival to finance it."

Jack White will share the show date as close as possible to the day of the event. He even said the show could be rumored in D-days if necessary. Wow, it's a bit late.
