Sal Priadi Reveals The Meaning Of The Matahari Flower Gala Song That Makes Him Cry

JAKARTA - Sal Priadi did not expect when his song entitled 'Gala Bunga Matahari' went viral because it was used by many people as background music to tell sad stories on social media.

Regarding what he wanted to convey through the song, Sal said that Gala Bunga Matahari tells a longing for people who have 'passed away' and continued a better life.

"This continues my life story. I realized that life must continue. And my other friends also have to continue a good life. I think that's it," said Sal Priadi when met in Senayan, South Jakarta, Thursday, August 8.

The 32-year-old singer admitted that she saw many of her songs being used by people to tell her pain.

Awal-awal ketika teman-teman menceritakan pengalaman orang dan saya menangis. Sampai ada waktu saya berhenti membaca karena saya terus nangis, katanya.

"Yes, I imagine that one day you hear the story of people and you crying," he added.

Furthermore, Sal admitted that 'Gala Bunga Matahari' was a song that made him so emotional, since writing it until it was shown on stage until now.

"This is the first song when I listen to the song, I'm still shaking and crying. Yes, this is a song that makes me why on stage I'm still shaking," said Sal.

"There was one time I felt like this wasn't me writing, and when this song was related to many people, the song was looking for its own way to come to the listeners."
