Govinda Didanguk Creates A Special Song For Mars Perbasi

JAKARTA - The Govinda band was lined up by the Central Board of the Indonesian Basketball Association (PP Perbasi) to perform a special song with the title Mars Perbasi.

This Mars was written by Ade Nurulianto (guitar). After discussing with Perbasi to adjust the lyrics of the song, it took about a week to complete it.

"This is the song Govinda which is not commercial but easy to remember," said Ade at a press conference in Kemang, South Jakarta on Thursday, August 8.

For Govinda itself, it was appointed to make Mars Perbasi a matter of pride, considering that this song will be played in many basketball events.

Furthermore, Ifan (vocals) sees this Mars Perbasi' as a form of collaboration between sports and music. He hopes that this new mars will be an encouragement for national basketball athletes.

"We know that sports and music are a unit that cannot be separated. Therefore, we are trying to make this march, created by Ade," said Ifan.

"Hopefully this song will be an encouragement to win the competition. In addition, hopefully this song will make people love basketball more in the future," he said.
