JAKARTA - Coffee has become part of Indonesian culture that is fond of hanging out. Not only being friends to share stories, coffee also begins to be synonymous with productivity, both at work and at work.

The personnel of D'Cinnamons also almost never escape coffee. At every opportunity to gather, both in performances and practice activities, the chat feels warmer with coffee.

The musical character D'Cinnamons, which is dominated by acoustic instrumentation, with simple lyrics flavored folky, is the perfect presentation to accompany the pleasure of sipping a cup of coffee.

The coffee world, which is closely related to familiar and close gathering activities, is in line with the D'Cinnamons mission which always enjoys a music atmosphere closer to the listeners.

From that connection, D'Cinnamons released a new work entitled 'Not Wrong Coffee'. This song is inspired by Diana Widoera's own vocalist/guitarist (Dodo) experience, from a moment at a small coffee shop in Bandung.

There, as usual coffee lovers accidentally gather. However, it is different from other coffee shops - which usually sit alone, enjoy entertainment from their respective cellphones or laptops, here there is no sofa, no wifi, and even chairs are only from hard cement.

"But what happened was behind this simplicity, coffee was not just taste, place, and internet. But it inspired the most basic human calling, namely a call to socialize," said Dodo in a written broadcast received by VOI.

Observation at this coffee shop triggered Dodo's idea to write songs about coffee culture. There is a closeness that is starting to fade due to technology and busyness, especially when enjoying coffee.

"It's not the wrong coffee... who's wrong or something? Here the interesting story begins," continued Dodo.

From a small coffee shop, with an open bar concept, but selling delicious coffee. The more delicious it is because we sit very close together. There is no distance. So what happens is greeting each other. Yes, it's as easy as enjoying today as today. Starting from greeting each other, then telling each other, asking, winning is stale, making fun of, making assumptions, inviting laughter from the whole coffee shop. It's a great experience. We can enjoy basic essence as humans and live on this second, "he explained.

Like the process of mixing a cup of coffee, this single is also going through its own stages. Starting from Dodo, who talked little about meeting an unknown person, became familiar because of a cup of coffee.

"Then Nana's habit of investing in coffee everyday, is an inspiration for this song. It's also very special because this time I have the trust to work on mixing and mastering," said guitarist Ismail Bonaventura (Bona) revealing the privileges of the song.

Seeing this interesting theme and point of view, bassist Riana Mayasari (Nana) has her own opinion.

"Why do we agree to give the title Not Wrong Coffee? Because it turns out that what makes coffee feel warm is not from coffee, but from human interactions. Wherever we input coffee, as luxurious or as simple as our place is goving', it will still feel warm and delicious when interactions are added. Either with those closest to us, or with people we just know.

In the Not Salah Kopi treatment, D'Cinnamons also added another unique and unusual surprise, where to strengthen its composition and arrangement, at the end of the song they pinned atonguration of the loud guitar from the fingerstyle mogul Jubing Kristianto.
