Recording With Children Becomes A New Experience For RAN

JAKARTA - Rayi, Asta, and Nino who are members of RAN have just released a new album with the title RAN For Your Kids.

In its cultivation, the 17-year group in the music industry underwent a recording session with three child singers, namely Velyn Elsa, Khayla Khay, and Achmad Barakha.

RAN personnel admitted to having a fun recording session with the children. The reason is, child singers who are involved in collaborating on the new album have undergone auditions and are indeed the best choice.

But one thing that has just been realized, the recording method they usually do, cannot be fully applied to children.

"It's fun. It's quite different, so do recordings with adults and children. We remember very well at that time, one of them in one day, one of them seems really tired. At night, it was still taking, at half past 10, we cried," said Nino when met at Urban Forest Cipete, South Jakarta, Tuesday, July 23.

"If we get used to it until 12 o'clock (night) more. And just remember, oh yes, children when 9 or 10 o'clock it's time to sleep. Because he's the rest of the last take, so when his friends came home, he was left alone, finally crying, "said Rayi.

RAN personnel are aware that their working time in the recording studio cannot be fully applied to children.

With this experience, Nino feels he has a new understanding. He believes he will undergo better recordings if he has the opportunity to undergo another musical project with his children again.

"But in the end we realized, yes, even children at that time should rest too," said Nino.

"So, there RAN learns a lot too, through the experiences of these young children. Hopefully at the next opportunity, if we have the opportunity to make an album for the children again, we will understand more about it," he concluded.
