Followed By 10 Countries, International Economy Competition Held In Jakarta

IIPC will be held in Jakarta starting today (Doc. Unggul Personal Creation Foundation)

JAKARTA - A special competition for piano titled Indonesia International Total Competition (IIPC) 2024 will be held at the H. Usmar Ismail Film Center, Kuningan, South Jakarta. This championship has begun today, July 8 and will last until July 14.

The Unggul Personal Creation Foundation as the organizer of the competition in its press release in Jakarta, Monday, said that IIPC 2024 was attended by 133 participants from 10 countries, including Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, and South Korea.

IIPC President Helen Gumanti said that Indonesia's International Economy Competition is a global stage dedicated to improving education for classic practitioners.

Competition organizers are committed to supporting the promotion of classical music education and the education of young pianists.

"Let us contribute, especially in the fields of education and tourism so that this competition can continue to be held on a larger scale and impact in the future," Helen said as quoted by ANTARA.

IIPC 2024 includes the Category of Professional Senior Category Category (18-32 years old), Professional Junior Category (age under 18 years old), Collaborative Goody 1 Category (age 18-32 years old), Collaborative Goody 2 Category (age under 18 years old), Amateur Category (age 33 years and over), Senior Category (age under 18 years old), Junior Category (age under 15 years old), Intermediate Category (age under 13 years old), Category 1 (age under 10 years old), and Category 2 (age under 8 years old).

The participants will be judged by 11 judges from the United States, Bulgaria, Japan, Germany, South Korea, Malaysia, France, and Singapore. The judges are recognized piano maestros in the world.

The final round of competitions and the announcement of professional category winners will be held on July 14, 2024.

During the IIPC 2024, Masterclass and fire sessions were also held which were open to the public.

The Masterclass session of the competition judges was held from 10 to 14 July 2024, while the piano retail is scheduled to take place from 10 to 13 July 2024.
