Franki Indrasmoro Takes The Joy Of Jakartans In Music Videos 'Cheat The World'

JAKARTA - Franki Indrasmoro presented a music video for the single 'Criminal World', his debut song as a soloist.

Assisted by Greg Soegono as a director for the music video, the former Naif drummer presents a fairly different concept. When Jakarta's busy life is often filled with anxiety from its people, Franki tries to catch the joys that exist.

The process of filming the music video went on for two days, with Pepeng and the band as the main characters, with the life background of the people of Jakarta.

Filming was carried out in several areas of South Jakarta, precisely in children's playgrounds, narrow alleys, stairs in residents' housing, chicken porridge stalls, in angkots, and cafes. In all of these areas Mas Pepeng and his accompanying band members appeared," said Greg Soegono in a written statement, Friday, May 31.

"The appearance at the beginning will disturb the calm of people who are busy going to work and doing activities, but in the end, everyone will enjoy the presence of Mas Pepeng and the band," he continued.

Pepeng said that the selection of the shooting location as the background for the music video had been carefully considered, to convey a message from the song performed.

This is a symbolic message. In Jakarta, we all live full of work and make a living to make a living. Sometimes everything makes us feel tight and it is difficult to find freedom to move. This is what we try to show through this narrow filming," said Franki.

"But all of our expressions were cheerful when they were tight. This illustrates how sincere we should live everything, so that our difficulties do not reduce our happiness," he added.

Meanwhile, the music video Crime the World is planned to air in June on Franki Indrasmoro's YouTube channel.
