'Long May You Die' Becomes Slipknot's First Song With Eloy Casagrande

JAKARTA - Slipknot confirmed that in the last recording session they recorded a song called 'Long May You Die'. This is the band's first material with Eloy Casagrande as a drummer.

Through an official Instagram account, Slipknot also confirmed what his fans have recently discussed.

Slipknot fans talk to each other about Long May You Die which is a new song written during a recent recording session, wrote Slipknot in an Instagram post caption, Thursday, May 16.

"You guys are right. You guys are absolutely right.'

Previously, Eloy hinted that he and his new bandmates had been working on new material together.

"I think it's also part of the audition. They gave me new ideas to see what my songwriting looks like. They wanted to test me at all costs."

However, Casagrande clarified that he was still trying to understand how Slipknot's dynamics work. He hasn't clearly seen how things work in new recordings and songs.

I don't think there is any pressure to record new material. But I'm sure they will, I don't know when, because right now this band is focusing on celebrating its 25th anniversary," Eloy said.
