Ahead Of Performing At Java Jazz 2024, Ricky Montgomery Presents Deluxe Album

JAKARTA - Ricky Montgomery can't wait before his performance at the Java Jazz Festival 2024. His arrival for the first time will be a special moment, because Indonesia is the top 3 listeners of his work on music streaming platforms.

Before entertaining fans in Jakarta, the singer has just released the album 'Rick (y)' which is a deluxe version of the album 'Rick' which he released last year.

The album consists of nine new songs, including "Here Comes The Moon", Penny Come Home, Same tidak (Interlude), and two recently shared singles, namely covers of the song The Strokes Reptialia and Unknown Phantom.

Just before I uploaded this deluxe album, I decided to include 3 old songs. Why? To be honest I initially wanted to include 'Talk To You,' Sorry For Me, and TTLE Down on Rick's album, "said the musician from the United States in a written broadcast received by VOI.

"I did finally release the three songs in the form of EP in 2022 and I'm happy I did that! But it felt strange when I released the album 'Rick' without the three songs because they were connected to the narrative on the album but they didn't enter the tracklist."

Ricjt Montgomery has his own reasons for choosing the title of the album 'Rick(y)'.

"There's a big reason why this album is called Rick(y). This album is not just a deluxe album, but a summary of Ricky Montgomery's 2nd chapter. The song Unknown Phantom which is the last song on this album is an epilogue and footage from my next work. he concluded.

Earlier this year became an important momentum in Ricky's career. Because he successfully completed his biggest North American tour titled "The Rick Tour: Another Rick in the Wall". The tour also visited the UK and Europe where all tickets were sold out. Ricky will then go to Asia including Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia.
