Thee Marloes Releases Single 'I Know' As An Introductor To Album 'Silver'

JAKARTA - The music group from Surabaya which is being discussed, Thee Marloes maintains consistency in working in 2024. They have just announced that their debut album entitled 'Silver' will be released on August 9.

Along with the announcement, Thee Marloes also released their latest single, 'I Know', which is also their first work this year. Released through its New York City-based record label Big Crown Records, this track is a mid-tempo song about addressing the lies of a love relationship based on a lie.

The album 'Silver' itself accommodates the story of the journey of Thee Marloes personnel from the city of Surabaya which is summarized into songs made of soul. The presence of this album is also not merely there to signify their musical career, but also aims to create a platform that previously did not exist.

While listening to the music of Thee Marloes, it will be very clear that they really enjoy every process that is passed, starting from the writing process, recording, until finally they perform their songs directly in front of the audience.

"We want to share what we've been through in this life," said Natassya as vocalist.

Without caring much about the background, the language limit or cultural origin of each person, the music and energy given by Thee Marloes to each song can be attached and played on the playing table of the disc for years.

The band consisting of Natassya Sianturi as a vocalist and keyboard player, Sinatrya "Raka" Dharaka on guitar, and also Tommy Satwick as a drummer is formed quite simply. Both are friends who know each other on the Surabaya music scene, but over time both of them realized that they had the same interest and taste of music which eventually became one of the things behind the formation of Thee Marloes in early 2020.
