JAKARTA - After Jay Weinberg's departure in November 2023, Slipknot finally announced their new drummer. He is Eloy Casagrande, the former drummer of Sepultura.
Through the official Instagram account, the metal band from Iowa, United States, displays the profile of Eloy Casagrande wearing a new mask.
"Slipknot officially welcomes Eloy Casagrande," he wrote in the caption for Instagram uploads.
The choice of Casagrande as drummer for Slipknot confirmed the estimates of many fans, after Weinberg's departure. They even performed together at the Sick New World Festival last weekend.
