Mariah Carey, Oasis And Lenny Kravitz Failed To Enter The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

JAKARTA - The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced 16 names to be sworn in this year. They will undergo an inauguration party at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, Cleveland, United States on 19 October.

However, there are several names that should be disappointed because they failed to be sworn in this year, such as Mariah Carey, Oasis, and Lenny Kravitz. Whereas previously they had been nominated and had been in the top position of fan polls

As of March 14, Lenny Kravitz was in sixth place with 169,534 votes. The 59-year-old musician lost only to Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Dave Matthews Band, and Cher.

Then, Mariah Carey was in seventh place with 149,527. The failure of the diva this year was quite surprising. Many people outperform him, including Ozzy Osbourne.

Furthermore, Oasis was in the ninth position with 105,480 votes.

There are eight names in theampil categories, namely Ozzy Osbourne, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Gang, and A Tribe Called Quest.

Meanwhile, for the Musical Excellence Category, there are four names to be inducted, namely Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Comedy, and Norman Whitfield.

Furthermore, the three musicians who will be sworn in through the Music Influence Category are Alexis Korner, John Mayall, and Big Mama Badminton.
