Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2024 Announces 16 Nominees: There Are Ozzy Osbourne, Cher To Kool & The Gang

JAKARTA - The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced 16 names to be sworn in this year. The inauguration party itself will be held at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, Cleveland, United States on 19 October.

"Congratulations to #RockHall2024 people who were sworn in to receive the highest music award," reads the caption for the Instagram Rock & Roll Hall of Fame upload, Monday, April 22.

Award recipients will be grouped into four categories, namely theampil Category, Musical Excellence Category, Music Influence Category, and Ahmet Ertegun Award.

There are eight names in theampil categories, namely Ozzy Osbourne, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Gang, and A Tribe Called Quest.

Ozzy Osbourne through his Instagram account also thanked him for this achievement. After being inaugurated by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with Black Sabbath in 2006, his achievements were even more complete after being inaugurated as a soloist.

Meanwhile, for the Musical Excellence Category, there are four names to be inducted, namely Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Comedy, and Norman Whitfield.

Furthermore, the three musicians who will be sworn in through the Music Influence Category are Alexis Korner, John Mayall, and Big Mama Badminton.

Meanwhile, for the special category of recipients of the Ahmet Ertegun Award, music producerularde Passe will be sworn in by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year.
