Aziz Hedra And Puncak Kegundahan In The Latest Single, 'Devastated'

JAKARTA - A new single was released by Aziz Hedra titled 'Devastated'. This song was taken from his first EP which just launched some time ago, Lesson.

This work is the 4th single for the singer who won the Anugerah Musik Indonesia award in 2023. Devastated has a different story than the previous songs although they are still related to the big theme in this EP, namely about life lesson'.

"In this single I discuss about one of the lowest points for someone, where they lose an important figure in their life," Aziz's story in a written broadcast received by VOI.

The figure in question could be family members, or girlfriends, or friends. In my opinion, in this era there are many people who may be experiencing the loss of this figure. So, I think, they should know that people come and go, but don't let you lose yourself," he added.

Aziz Hedra also acts as a composer for this single with Riyan Pratamma and Dhea Nasution. In addition, Fathan Maulana is also involved as a producer. For the Mixing & Mastering process, he was assisted by Rayendra Sunito's cold hands, and Kamga's Vocal Director.

As a single mainstay, Devastated is also presented in the form of a Music Video produced by Joshua Axel Limandjaja as its Producer and Director.

"This video is the concept of discussing someone who can't forget his past, to the point that he has interfered with several things in his current life because of the effects of not being able to move on from the past," said the musician whose photo has been stuck in Times Square several times.

Broadly speaking, the songs presented by Aziz Hedra at the EP "Lesson" have stories that relate to each other so as to create the flow he wants. From 'Heartless', 'Issa Goodbye','somebody's Happiness', to 'Devastated' represent each other's fragile feelings.
