Elected As Member Of The Indonesian House Of Representatives, Pasha Makes Sure To Remain A Purple Vocalist

JAKARTA - Sigit Purnomo alias Pasha was elected as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the 2024-2029 period. That way, there will be other jobs and responsibilities that will take up time and thought.

However, Pasha stated that he would not resign from his position as the vocalist of Ungu. He also firmly said that Ungu would not be vacuumed or dissolved.

"There was never any intention like that. Everything was adjusted, all commitments were the same. So, we have no reason to disband either," said Pasha in Tendean, South Jakarta, Wednesday, April 3.

"Want to find reasons to disband, looking for reasons for wanting to be vaccinated is also not there. Because the point is that our careers are also going on," he continued.

Moreover, Pasha feels that his current legislative duties will not interfere with the Ungu agenda, when compared to when he was elected Deputy Mayor of Palu in 2016.

"We have passed it. It was only that it was a bit difficult before because the distance was a bit far. Now the position is different, the political work is also different and the position is in Jakarta, so coordination and communication is very easy," he said.

What Pasha said was also agreed by Enda. According to him, there is no reason for Ungu to disband or change personnel.

"When asked, we have to answer, we have to try to survive. If you want to disperse, it's easy, but the five of us don't want to disband, the five of us still want to. If I personally never feel that there are more personnel than Pasha, Makki, Oncy and Rowman, why look for new ones, yes, this is all," said Enda.

"Honestly, at my age, I think this is my last band," he said.
