The Voice Alumni, Jims Wong Cares For Pain Present Through Single 'Really'

JAKARTA - After a long time of being heard, this alumni of The Voice Indonesia's event showed their existence in the music world. He is Jims Wong who has just released his latest single titled Really'.

This work is his first single in 2024, after 'Do You Love Me' which launched last year. Unlike the previous singles, in 'Really', Jims Wong presents a sense of acoustics equipped with screams at his song that really depicts the theme of this song, namely: pain.

"The story of this song is about a long hidden taste, maybe from the start the relationship has felt unsuitable but still forced so that after doing it it starts to feel bitter, disappointed, even the sweet taste is only a few in memory," said Jims Wong explaining the story behind 'Really'.

"It took so long to harbor the bitterness, finally the pain began to emerge slowly that the pain was finally unbearable. This story led to those who finally accepted the fact that this disappointment was enough and they finally talked about it," he continued.

Being an arranger, composer, and songwriter for this single made Jims Wong able to interpret the story of a friend who had poured out his heart to him. In addition, in making Really', Jims Wong was also assisted by Richard Benhard as a Producer and a figure in the Mixing & Mastering process.
