Zayn Malik Listens To One Direction Songs Again, Calls It A Beautiful Memories

JAKARTA - The relationship between Zayn Malik and One Direction looks like a love-hate relationship. Several times Zayn made controversial statements about his old band, from claims that he could not be himself to never be happy while there.

But with time, it seems that Zayn's views have changed. Recently he admitted that he was nostalgic with his time as a member of this phenomenal boyband.

When he was a guest star at Stationhead, March 25, the 31-year-old singer admitted that he often heard 1D songs. In fact, he called those times sweet memories.

"I'm playing One Direction songs lately, remembering the past. Beautiful times," he said as quoted by Billboard.

"We make good music as a band. I think we are pretty good," he added.

Apart from discussing the One Direction era, Zayn also talked about the ideal collaboration. Miley Cyrus's name is called the artist she idolizes, and hopes to work together someday.

"I wanted to collaborate with him (Miley Cyrus) because I really liked his music. His voice was crazy and I thought we would be able to make something cool together," Zayn said.

Currently Zayn Malik is preparing his latest album entitled 'Room Under the Stairs' which will be released on May 17. He has presented the single 'What I Am' as the opening gate for his big work later.
