Gigi Rayakan 30 Tahun Berkarya Lewat Konser GIGINFINITY Yang Digelar 24 Agustus

JAKARTA - Gigi, who debuted with Angan's 1994 album, celebrates 30 years of their journey as Indonesia's top band this year. This celebration features a concert titled GIGINFINITY (readed Gigi Infinity) which will be held at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta on 24 August.

GIGINFINITY itself was chosen as the title to describe Gigi's three-decade journey and the great hope that lies ahead.

The four of us still have the same energy to be in music. And this journey, if I look at the understanding from there, infinity, is that it continues to lengthen. This teeth is a ship that houses four people who are crossing an unlimited ocean," said Thomas Ramdhan during a press conference in Cilandak, South Jakarta, Monday, March 25.

"This infinity also means Gigi will continue to make music in the future, without being limited to how long," he continued.

Meanwhile, Adi Sudono Rahmat, founder of MHT Live as the promoter, admitted that he was honored when he was given the opportunity to handle a special concert for Gigi. If thirteen years ago he was an audience of Armand Maulana cs, now he acts as the organizer of the event.

Little to give an overview of the concert later, Adi said Gigi's 30-year celebration would be a 'triple' concert.

"We will make this 30-year anniversary Gigi concert a 'tripe camp'. The concert itself will last for three hours, and Gigi will play 30 songs," said Adi.

Gigi and the promoter are still preparing for the concert later to be lively and provide an unforgettable experience for fans.

In the near future, further information regarding the GIGINFINITY concert will be announced, including the performers who will appear.

"Actually, we gave initial information first that Gigi would hold a GIGINFINITY concert. Later we will hold a further press conference," concluded Adi Sudono Rahmat.
