Appearing In Jakarta For The First Time, Marty Friedman Enters Line Up Hammersonic Festival 2024

The Hammersonic Festival 2024 has finally revealed the surprise they have broadcast on social media in the last few days. Marty Friedman is presented as one of the line-ups ready to shake Carnaval Ancol, North Jakarta on May 4 and 5.

"Marty Friedman first appeared in Jakarta with his band," wrote Hammersonic's official Instagram account.

"Marty Friedman at Hammersonic, a mix of art and energy that leaves indelible scars on everyone's heart and soul," he continued.

The presence of the former Megadeth guitarist followed another guitar virtuoso that had been confirmed to be present before, Yngwie Malmsteen.

Meanwhile, the announcement of Marty Friedman's entry into the Hammersonic Festival 2024 line-up coincides with several other names, namely A Day To Remember, We The Kings, Fear Factory, and Tiny Moving Parts.

With five new names announced so far, the Hammersonic Festival 2024 has announced twenty performers will appear.

Lamb of God is one of the most awaited performers. The band from the United States, which was formed in 1994, returned to Indonesia to appear in front of its fans. They visited in 2009 and 2015.

Furthermore, the Hammersonic Festival also presented several bands from the Asian continent, such as Crossfaith from Japan and ANNALYNN from Thailand. This time also presented the women's heavy metal band, NERVOSA.

In addition to the names mentioned above, several foreign performers who were presented were As I Lay Dying, Cradle of Filth, Suicide Silence, ATREYU, Gallery Index, Converge, and Suffocation.

Meanwhile, domestic performers who are confirmed to attend are Saint Loco, Straight Answers, and Strangers.
