Fadli Zon Achieves 5 MURI Records On National Music Day, Celebrated With Vinyl Release 'Sinja Sound' Dara Puspita

JAKARTA - National Music Day is celebrated every March 9 by music people. This is a moment to commemorate and appreciate the maestro, WR Supratman who was born March 9, 1903.

Coinciding with National Music Day this year, Fadli Zon received 5 Awards from the MURI World Record Museum - Indonesia MURI Record for the collector category and initiator. The four MURI categories as collectors include: Most Music Poster collectors with more than 400 pcs, Most Fossil Collectors with 700 pcs, Most 19th Century Hercarium Collectors with 1000 pcs, and the most African Mask Collectors.

In addition to receiving four MURI records as collectors, Fadli Zon also received a World-Indonesian Record for the Indonesian People category, the Chief Delegation of the Most Parliamentary Conferences (2014-2024), which recorded 116 activities in various international parliamentary conferences.

The MURI Record submission was given by the MURI Committee at Fadli Zon Creative House, Cimanggis, Depok. Fadli Zon's own Creative House last year received Muri's Record as the House with the Most Nusantara Cultural Collections.

For Fadli Zon, the record recording of MURI is an effort to document cultural objects. "I am very happy, appreciate, appreciate, hopefully this MURI activity will inspire and increase the number of innovations and creativity that grow in Indonesian society," said Fadli Zon.

With the addition of 5 MURI Categories, for Fadli Zon this is the 54th MURI. Finally, in 2023, he recorded a number of MURI records, one of which was the Great Indonesia Collector of the LP Shellac Gramafon. This is the first recording of the song Indonesia Raya in 1928 by Yo Kim Tjan and made in England. He also received MURI's record as the Most Indonesian Record Master Collectors with a total of 12,000 pcs. Fadli also holds MURI's record for the most Indonesian cassette collections, namely 22,000 cassettes.

Fadli Zon assesses that arts and cultural heritage are national assets. He made the collection an effort to preserve, educate and literacy so that more Indonesians appreciate and love their culture. He compiled a catalog of all his collections and was making an inscription of Indonesian blacklists and an inscription of Indonesian cassettes.

In addition to the MURI awarding, the event continued with the launch of vinyl Lanja Sound' Dara Puspita from Fadli Zon Music House. Dara Puspita is the first female music band in Indonesia and in the world. This women's rock group was formed in Surabaya, East Java in 1964. Dara Puspita's popularity broke through the country's borders. Not only at the Asian level, they also entered Europe for more than three years. They played in England, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany, to Hungary. Dara Puspita's Black Piring was sung by all the same personnel when it was still complete last year. The singer and lead songwriter Dara Puspita, Point Hamzah, was present and appreciated the launch of this vinyl Dara Puspita.

Also present were a number of artists, musicians, culturalists, and the community of disk lovers. There are Point Hamzah, Setiawan Djody, singer Erni Djohan, Black Brothers, Ratih Purwasih, Endang S Taurina, Rian the Massive, Bobby Sandhora. On that occasion, Point Hamzah really appreciated the work of filing the music released by Fadli Zon.
