Jim Carrey And His 2004 Film Become Inspirations For Ariana Grande's 'Eternal Sunshine' Album

JAKARTA - Ariana Grande has acknowledged her admiration for actor and comedian Jim Carrey several times. Not only amazed, he also made the idol his inspiration in his work.

Today, Ariana launched her latest album titled 'Eternal Sunshine'. For film lovers, of course, the title is very familiar, because the singer is inspired by the film 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'.

The iconic film was released in 2004 with Jim Carrey as the main character. Ariana feels there is a special connection with the film, which is finally contained in her full album this time.

"I think the film is loved by many people because many are related to getting caught in the wrong situation, but really loves him and wants to stay there," Ariana said in an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music (7/3/2024).

"They just flowed in the songs on this album. I feel very inspired by the film," he added.

Ariana Grande's latest album, 'Eternal Sunshine' can be heard on various music platforms. There are 13 tracks in it, including 'Yes, and?' which was first introduced in mid-January.
