Meiska Lebarkan Career Musik Di Malaysia Lewat OST Film 'Malang Si Puteri'

JAKARTA - A young singer from Bali, Meiska has succeeded in captivating foreign music lovers. He was appointed to fill the original soundtrack (OST) for the Malaysian film, Malang Si Puteri.

Meanwhile, the song that became the film's OST titled Dursila. This song is also a moment for Meiska to return to greet her fans in Malaysia, after the single titled Missing without saying she received good appreciation there.

Dursila was written by Adrianna Cinta, one of the singers and songwriters under the auspices of Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia. Meanwhile, the arrangement was worked on by Farouk Norman, a talented Malaysian composer.

Farouk admitted that he was impressed and happy to have the opportunity to work with Meiska. He said the 20-year-old singer had a unique voice.

"Collaborating with Meiska makes me remember other singers who have worked together before, such as Judika, Jaz Hayat, and many more. Meiska has a unique and beautiful voice when we hear it," said Farouk Norman in his statement, Tuesday, March 5.

A positive response also came from Meiska when she was offered the opportunity to sing the soundtrack for Malang Si Puteri. According to him, this collaboration will be a good start for the journey of his music career this year.

"I feel this song is very heavy emotionally and full of meaning, so as a singer I must really understand what the song wants to convey. Fortunately, with the help and support of vocal coach Barsena Bestandhi, I managed to face these challenges," Meiska said.

"The part of this song is final chorus, because I have to try to give a deeper emotional touch to other parts of the song," he continued.

Meanwhile, Dursila tells the story of someone who is tired while in a relationship that doesn't go smoothly.

Even though I've never been directly connected to me, I can feel the pain and suffering of someone who is in that condition. I hope, this song can calm down and provide lessons and solutions for those who are experiencing difficulties in the relationship," said Meiska.

Through this collaboration, Meiska hopes that there will be opportunities to further widen her career as a singer, not only in Indonesia or Malaysia, but also in many other countries.
