JAKARTA - Singer and songwriter from the United States, Cat Janice passed away on Wednesday, February 28 local time. The author of the song Dance You Outta My Head, which went viral on TikTok, died at the age of 31.

The death of the singer with the full name Catherine Janice Ipsan was announced through an upload on her Instagram account.

This morning, from her childhood home and surrounded by her beloved family, Catherine peacefully enters the light and love of her creator, "wrote Cat Janice's Instagram account.

We are always grateful for the outpouring of affection that Catherine and her family have received over the past few months. Cat saw his music reaching results he never expected and felt calm knowing that he would continue to support his son through his music. This is impossible without all of you. Thank you."

Cat died after battling his illness. Two years ago, he was diagnosed with sarkoma or bone cancer and tissue.

In recent times, Cat has gone viral on social media after revealing that he has transferred all rights to the song he wrote to his son, Loren.

In his last upload, called the saved cat Janice songs will also be released in the future.
