JAKARTA - Sammy Simorangkir and Ade Govinda collaborated in a single entitled While Having Time. This collaboration stems from what they did during the pandemic.

"This is a product due to Kuta being locked up at home during Covid-19," said Sammy Simorangkir in Tebet, South Jakarta last week.

At that time, musicians had to lose their source of income because there was no music stage being held.

"So, at that time we as musicians couldn't go off the water anywhere, because no events and crowds were allowed, so we were grounded," said Sammy.

"And that time was triggered for live from home," he added.

Initially, Sammy performed a song created by Ade entitled Terupaya. Furthermore, they agreed to undergo a new music project with songs that have never been released.

Meanwhile, While Having Time written by Ade Govinda from the inspiration he got from Fadly, vocalist of Padi Reborn. At that time, the two were on vacation together to Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara.

He (Fadly) said 'De, later if one day you have a family and get married, you have to prepare time for your family, because sometimes we don't know, we always go on a plane, and all kinds of things'. Anyway, it's like that, there is a conversation that I think is very touching," he said.
