Having A Strong Reason, Cakra Khan Still Releases New Album Ahead Of The Election

JAKARTA - Gegap gempita Pemilu yang akan berlangsung Rabu, 14 Februari tidak membuat surut Cakra Khan untuk mengeluarkan album penuh barunya yang diperangarkan ke publik pada Jumat, 9 Februari pekan lalu.

When many musicians postpone the release of singles and albums because they do not want to touch the election which will definitely attract the attention of the public, Cakra Khan has his own reasons when he is determined to decide on the release date of DIVINE, a new album that comes after 11 years of waiting.

The singer from Pangandaran, West Java will hold a concert in Malaysia on February 17, and he plans to bring songs from his new album.

"Considering that there is a concert for me in Malaysia, and I want to bring new songs from this album, I want it to be released first so that those who buy tickets already know the songs," said Cakra Khan during a press conference in Senayan, Central Jakarta, Monday, February 12.

Cakra wants to present his best performance at his concert later, he also wants the audience who attend not to be confused when he brings new works that have never been performed.

"I don't think about cooperation with people, especially if I sell tickets, I always think about it. Even though we actually don't have to know the problem, you pay me, it's up to you, right. But I can't be like that," he said.

Meanwhile, Cakra Khan's concert ticket in Malaysia has been sold out. Later there will be around three thousand spectators present to witness the Separate Must singer.

Cakra plans to participate in the elections first in Indonesia. The day after, he will go to Malaysia to have a final training session with the orchestra accompanying him.

"Alhamdulillah, even though the training has not been maximized because of the orchestra in Malaysia. But after the election, on the 15th I was just flying to Malaysia," concluded Cakra Khan.
