TRUST Orchestra Brings Studio Ghibli And Makoto Shinkai Themes Through The Legends Concert

JAKARTA - Trinity Youth Symphony Orchestra (TRUST) officially announced the latest show titled The Legends 8 Replay: The World of Studio Ghibli and Makoto Shinkai.

Scheduled to take place at Ciputra Artpreneur Theater, South Jakarta on March 9 and 10, TRUST will revive the most iconic melodies of the soundtrack Studio Ghibli and the work of legendary director Makoto Shinkai who was presented with an orchestra touch.

Nathania Karina as the music director and conductor from TRUST Orchestra said she was happy with the enthusiasm of the community for some of the instructions that were informed through the media.

"We are very happy and grateful for the enthusiasm that the public has given to this concert, even when we have not announced the theme and title of the concert, we have received such an extraordinary welcome," said Nathania Karina in a press statement received by VOI, Friday, February 2.

Through the concert later, TRUST also wants to introduce orchestral performances that are not only enjoyed by classical music audiences, but also even wider music lovers.

We hope that this concert can open our concert season in 2024 with great fanfare. This huge support is a spirit for us to continue to present interesting programs, in accordance with our mission, namely realizing 'orchestra for everyone'," said Nathania again.

A welcome response to the TRUST mission was also present from Yonathan Nugroho as CEO of Trinity Optima Production who also supported this event.

Unlike other orchestral concerts, TRUST has no doubts about combining elements of jazz, pop, rock, and folk in its territory. This uniqueness makes TRUST known as a group that brings fresh and inspiring music," said Yonathan Nugroho.

The Legends 8 Replay Concert: The World of Studio Ghibli & Makoto Shinkai is also part of the celebration of Ciputra Artpreneur's tenth birthday in 2024. This event is expected to be a major spotlight in the Jakarta and Indonesia cultural arts calendar.
