JAKARTA - The 2024 Legislative Election was attended by several legislative candidates from the entertainment world celebrities. Some of them are big names in the music world, such as Kris Dayanti, Ahmad Dhani, Anang Hermansyah, Mulan Jameela, Once Mekel, Pasha Ungu, Melly Goeslaw, Giring ex Nidji, Marcell Siahaan, Andre Hehanusa, and Badai ex Kerispatih.

For the struggle that is being undertaken by colleagues in the national music industry, Reza Artamevia hopes for the best. He hopes that many artists, especially musicians who qualify and become members of the council in the DPR.

Reza himself actually intends to run as a legislative candidate in the 2024 Legislative Election, in fact, he has already taken care of verifying the files. However, his intention suddenly turned around. He decided to withdraw and not go into practical politics.

"The files all passed, but they all passed, but then I thought I didn't know why there was a feeling, how come it was a burden. Then I thought I couldn't, I'm an artist, so I just took it free," he said.

The singer hopes that he will not separate, he admitted that at first he felt it could be useful for many people if he entered politics. However, he felt he was not very suitable to be a politician.

"Because there are many politicians, I'd better join you. I want to be free, not trapped in a group or anything. Because I'm a singer, I can sing with any group.
