Josh Florentino, 2023 Radio Star Champion Launches Single Debut And Happens Again

JAKARTA - Josh Florentino released his debut single with the title Dan Terjadi Lagi. This song is a gift for him after winning the 2023 Radio Star event.

Josh's struggle debut in the music industry has a long story. Before becoming a champion, he had failed to compete on the Radio Star three times since 2014.

After having his own single, Josh Florentino expressed his gratitude. He felt the efforts that had been made for nine years paid off.

"I am very happy, very grateful. Anyway, this is thanks to God's work," said Josh Florentino during a press conference at the RRI Building, Central Jakarta on Friday, January 19.

"Because failing was what made me burn to prove that I could," he continued.

Meanwhile, Trakas as songwriter Dan Occurs Again expressed his satisfaction after knowing Josh Florentino was the one who brought him. According to him, what happened was a song that found the singer.

"When I got this offer yesterday, I had no other thoughts but to accept it, because this Radio Star is a big event, which is the oldest, and a fair event," said Trakas.

"When we were in the workshop for this song, we had a demonstration with three male singers, but nothing fit. When I was singing with Josh, wow, crazy it turned out to be suitable when I was brought with Josh's voice," he continued.

Meanwhile, Dan Tenjadi again talks about a sincere man who wants to find a partner who also has a sincere feeling. But on many occasions that hope did not happen.

For information, Josh Florentino from Manokwari is the winner of the 2023 Radio Star organized by Radio Republic of Indonesia (RRI).

Josh is currently a prison guard at the Class III Women's Prison in Manokwari, West Papua. He also still lives in his hometown.
