JAKARTA - Iwan Fals has just released a new album titled 2324 on Friday, January 12 last week. This album contains 11 songs from a poem written by Sawung Jabo.

Urip-Urap Gado-Gado is one of the songs from the 2324 album which is quite interesting. The lyrics of the song come from a poem written by Sawung Jabo in Sydney, Australia on February 15, 2021.

This song is a nggaco song. The longer it makes us stupid,' reads the lyrics of the song Urip-Urap Gado-Gado.

The Sawung Jabo poem was very harsh in criticizing those who with their speech ability managed to hypnotized many people.

"Don't be smart, don't be good," another piece of the lyrics of the song Urip-Urap Gado-Gado.

The poem from the artist with the real name Mochamad Djohansyah was also sung appropriately by Iwan Fals, jokingly as in the song Asik Tak Asik.

Furthermore, the interlude part of the song was also appropriately filled with guitar distortions from Noldy Benjamin. This content shows anger from the lyrics of the song which is very harsh in criticizing those who are'sok tau' and'sok master'.

In the comments column on the YouTube channel Iwan Fals Official, many netizens saw the song Urip-Urap Gado-Gado displaying vulgar and harsh lyrics.

Iwan Fals' collaboration with Sawung Jabo through this song is seen as the return of the legend with works containing criticism.

Previously, Iwan Fals admitted that he was interested in making the poems written by Sawung Jabo into his own album. According to him, the lyrics are written according to Indonesia's recent conditions.

"So, Jabo made a poem and I was attracted to the lyrics, especially the current atmosphere, I think the Jabo lyrics are suitable. I made a song for the lyrics, I gave it to Oni to make the music, then it became an album," said Iwan Fals.
