DJ Stroo's New Music Project, Sun Of Monday Debuts Through Single OK!

JAKARTA - DJ Stroo is back with the latest music project formed in November 2023, Sun of Monday. This EDM unit carries a trio concept with Cathyn (vocals) and Ridzky Surya (rap).

The name Sun of Monday was chosen to describe the new spirit they carry, as the first sun on Monday was defined as a new beginning for many to start activities in a week.

This unit from Jakarta hopes that the works they will release can be an encouragement for listeners.

Adapun, OK! Menjadi single debut untuk Sun of Monday. Lagu ini menjadi langkah pertama dari rencana extended play (RP) atau album mini terdirikan empat lagu yang nantinya akan dirilis.

OK! Present with the tropic house arrangement, where DJ Stroo as the songwriter shared social solidarity. This song wants to show how caring is still among the many life problems.

I made this song in 2021, but the opportunity was released only this year. OK! created when the pandemic hit, where more than one friend finally passed away due to the impact of the pandemic. Not to mention that many businesses are in disarray, and there are still many new problems that arise, after the pandemic ends," said Dj Stroo in his statement, Friday, January 12.

In fact, there are also many people who feel alone when they are faced with problems. We hope that everything will be OK, like the lyrics in this song. I think this song can still relate to the current conditions."

The recording process is fairly smooth and short, each personnel is given the portion to present their respective characters, especially the two singers. Cathyn and Ridzky Surya managed to respond to music to complement each other.

"I really like the music arrangement, the song also makes me excited. For the recording process there are no problems at all, everything is going smoothly," said Cathyn.
