Luna Maya's Past Story In The Song Because You Are From Geisha

JAKARTA - Roby Satria tells the story behind the song he once wrote for Geisha, because of you. This song is included in the album "Meraih Bintang" which was released in 2011.

At first, because you weren't written for Geisha, but for Luna Maya to sing. At that time, Roby admitted that Luna asked him to write a song.

"It feels like going back to the past when we made an appointment with Luna Maya at the Kemang Food Fest. We chat for a project where the original plan was to be sung," Roby Satria wrote in a description of Instagram's upload, Tuesday, January 9.

"He asked me to create a song, a song that was not too heavy or easy to sing, but represented his love story at the time," he continued.

Furthermore, the Geisha guitarist tried to find out what the love story that Luna Maya lived at that time was like.

"I was fun asking 'Mba, do you really think what kind of person he is?', and he answered briefly but full of question marks on my head. He replied, 'He's mysterious like the lyrics of the song he sings'," said Roby.

"As a composer who is believed to be able to translate the contents of his head, then at that time I created this song. The song is titled BECAUSE OF YOU," he continued.

Although he did not mention the name of Luna Maya's lover at that time, Roby said the man was a hit singer with a song called Bintang Di Heaven, Ariel NOAH.

"If we dissect the lyrics, there are many mysteries inside, one of which is 'I know you are very praised by them like a shining star', about his girlfriend who was hit with his song, Bintang Di Heaven," said Roby.

The next lyrics, 'Keep forgetting yourself, leave him for me now', the lyrics confirming leaving him 'SA' for me now. Because of this story I am proud to have seen a love story that cannot be seen by the eyes but time and logic are not on the side of the two of them," he said.

For information, the song titled Karena Kamu was re-released by Geisha with a new arrangement. The song can already be heard on various digital music platforms.
