Radiohead Guitarist Ed O'Brien Calls For Ceasefire In Gaza: Return The Hostages

JAKARTA - Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien of Radiohead has shared that he is "investigating" his next solo album and calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Guitarist Radiohead via Instagram officially wishes everyone a happy New Year and apologizes for the lack of posts on social media platforms.

He started with comments on the Israeli and Palestinian conflicts before sharing details about the progress of his next solo album.

"Like most of you, I consider the October 7 event and what happened afterwards too terrible to reveal in words.. whatever I try to write feels very inadequate. Ceasefire now. Return the hostages," he wrote.

I also just want to say how grateful I am for the small community we have here... which feels so certain when we go through the nights of isolation... Thank you and the great love for all of you. I will come back here... it's just that sometimes you need to rest from all these things... and it has to come from the right place," he continued.

"I'm working on my next album, and it's in the process.. I'll be sharing even more soon... from music, influence, to equipment... everything... it's been and it's been a journey... Sending love and warmth from me and Ziggy."

O'Brien's last solo release was an album in 2020, Earth, released under the pseudonym EOB.
