For him, it is clear, AI is a large part of a series of technological developments that have been running throughout the history of mankind.

As the latest innovation, Reza sees that AI has many uses and it is difficult for humans to turn and back when faced with technology.

"Humans never step back. There is also no desire not to take advantage of technology, except for a few people. With AI, it is impossible for us to eliminate it, because of its many uses," said Reza Ryan when contacted by VOI recently.

"Innovation always makes humans unable to go back, even though innovation creates its own problems. Every discovery will certainly cause problems, in addition to solving problems. Every discovery will have problems born, and later a solution will also be found for these problems," he continued.

However, Reza sees AI in music as something that has flaws. He then mentioned what big shortcomings AI has.

"AI in music also has many weaknesses. There are many advantages, but there are still weaknesses," he said.

According to him, the AI work system is still limited to data that comes in and is processed. Even then, not all data can be processed, especially for abstract matters.

Reza sees that AI has not been able to see the context of a musical work, more specifically, the meaning of a notation or series of notations. In fact, the artistic perspective is different from that of natural science. Artists may be creative if their perspective on something is opened as widely as possible.

"What makes the art world sharp is that we always see something as wide as possible," said Reza.

Furthermore, Reza sees the role of a musician and songwriter as complicated enough to be completely replaced by AI. Based on his thoughts on the current world conditions, it is impossible for all music actors to be replaced with machines.

"If all the work has been done with AI, this world of capital will also find its own barrier wall. This capitalist needs a market, when many people don't have purchasing power, they will also be destroyed together with the industry," said Reza Ryan.

"In theory, it won't go there, it's the same as digging your own grave," he said.
