JAKARTA - Duo Anov Blues One and Ollan released a new single titled Tukibul. This song is their response to the unrest ahead of the 2024 General Election.

Meanwhile, Tukibul is an acronym for the Kibul Tukang, which means a liar. This figure must be avoided by the community before making their political choices.

Anov Blues One said, Tukibul took the point of view of anger, annoyance and unrest over the number of humans who used lies as a selling commodity in political contestation.

Not wanting to be limited only in election matters. this song can also give meaning to a wider context in human life.

"This song also calls for warnings to all of us, to be more selective and filter with whom we are in contact, working together and committed to work, business or partnering," said Anov Blues One in a statement, Wednesday, December 20.

"Starting from officials, scholars, to the common people, even though many people sell words, fairy tales, dogma or lies, in the end, it's not necessarily a direction. Because that's the pattern, intention and it could be his profession," he continued.

Meanwhile, Ollan's choice to fill out the vocals was not without reason. Anov said the man with the full name Ahmad Sabar Nainggolan was a singer with a distinctive voice and had been a co-worker for a long time.

The collaboration between the two has resulted in two previously released singles, namely Boskin (Poor Boss), and Bottle (Stupid and Efficient).

Through this song, Anov and Ollan hope that listeners will be more careful and not easily believe in lies who often make promises.

"Never immediately be amazed that bins are fascinated, let alone believe humans like them. Because in the end we will fall into the brink of expectations, because we are consumed by promises and patterns, but nothing is true," concluded Ollan.
