Indra Lesmana And Dewa Budjana Work On Donny Suhendra's Postponed Album

JAKARTA - One of Indonesia's best guitarists, Donny Suhendra, passed away on June 19, 2022.

Before he died, Donny Suhendra had undergone a recording for his new album. But fate said otherwise, the album was not finished until finally the legend passed away.

A year later, Indra Lesmana reported the latest news from Donny Suhendra's last album.

Through an Instagram Story upload, Indra Lesmana showed a computer screen with a file bearing the name Donny Suhendra. The delayed album is being worked on to be completed.

"Donny Suhendra - Origin. There are still 5 songs that need to be filled with drums, bass and vocals," wrote Indra Lesmana, Wednesday, December 6.

"Today everything has been edited and is being downloaded to continue production by @dewabudjana. Meanwhile, I continued to mix 6 songs that were ready to mix. Bismillah," he continued.

Indra Lesmana's upload was re-uploaded by Dewa Budjana via Instagram Story. The Gigi guitarist called Donny Suhendra's last album a valuable asset.

"Very valuable price," wrote Dewa Budjana.

For information, Donny Suhendra started his music career in 1977. Eight years of work, Donny and several colleagues founded Krakatau in 1985.

Together with Krakatau, Donny Suhendra is known as one of the best guitarists. He also has several other musical projects, most of which play jazz rock fusion and ethno jazz.
